Airconditioning
Our facilities do not run air conditioning. However, the mild climate with temperatures ranging between 75° to 95°F (25° and 35°C) provides a comfortable setting year round. Our rooms are designed to take advantage of natural ventilation and embrace the unparalleled natural environment around the Cay.
Boat Shuttle
Staying on your own island can be tough: But we have you covered: We will shuttle you from Fort Morgan Cay to the main island of Roatan in our boats. The trip across Port Royal Harbor takes about 5 min and is included with your stay. Trips to villages nearby can be arranged at an additional cost.
Drinks
Water, fresh juices, Honduran coffee and tea are freely available with your stay on Fort Morgan Cay. We can supply wine and special drinks for you at an extra charge or you are free to bring your own.
Food
All food is included with your stay on Fort Morgan Cay and will be prepared freshly for you. We will serve from the delicious island menu with all natural ingredients and an emphasis on fresh vegetables and local fish that is delivered daily to Fort Morgan Cay. Please let us know any vegetarian or vegan food preferences, as well as allergies.
Medical Assistance
First Aid infrastructure is available on Fort Morgan Cay and a doctor is 20 min. away in Oak Ridge. French Harbor offers a hospital that is fully equipped with medical facilities according to US standards and provides 24 hour emergency facilities. Specialized treatments are within a 2-hour flight to Miami.
Safety
Roatan and the Bay Islands are geographically separated from the main land of Honduras and experience very little crime exposure. Tours around Roatan and the vicinity of Fort Morgan Cay, such as the natural parks and island archipelagos are completely safe.
Staff and Service
Fort Morgan Cay is not a hotel, but a privately owned vacation island. It has full time staff present 365 days a year, including our permanent island managers, house keeping and ground services.
Weather
Roatan has a tropical climate with temperatures between 25° and 35°C (75° to 95°F) throughout the year.

Fort Morgan Cay is absolutely amazing!!!! My husband and I went there to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary and we were completely blown away!!! It felt like a dream! Let me start by mentioning when they say "your own private island", they really mean it!! My husband and I literally had the ENTIRE island to ourselves!

Fort Morgan Cay was an incredible place to stay, the rooms were gorgeous and the staff was out of this world. We could not have dreamed of a better stay there. Plenty of things to do on and off the island. If you are into diving, they will set you up with a guide who lives a few minutes away by boat. Snorkeling is good everywhere.

This place is amazing! We had our wedding on the island and it was absolutely perfect. Doug, our personal chef, made every meal perfectly and super tasty. All of the staff; Natasha, Jenny, Marlon, Barron, Rennie, Jake, and Carlos were amazing in making our stay extra special. Thank you all for your hard work and for making our vacation/wedding better than we could have imagined!

We had such a great time on the island. One word comes to our mind: WOW! We spent 2 nights but after 1 hour being there, we already wanted to stay longer. We had the opportunity to make a boat tour of the mangrove with a bottle of champagne. We could also dive, snorkel, paddle and practice other water activities.
